Red Wall Gallery

As part of Tasmanian Living Artists Week 2007, Red Wall Gallery's 'The Room Upstairs' plans to host a group exhibition of artists that have shown in either gallery or who have been associated with exhibiting at The Republic Bar & Café in the past.

Artists wishing to be a part of this exhibition need to contact Red Wall no later than 15 April 2007.

TLAW is on from 24th August - 2nd September 2007.

Tim Panaretos is curating an exhibition in The Room Upstairs at the Republic Bar as part of the 2007 Hobart Fringe Festival. He is currently seeking expressions of interest from artists who would like to exhibit. There are only a few spots left, so if you think this is your gig (or would suit someone you know), I urge you to get in touch with him a.s.a.p.

Sea Change, Kill Difference.

'This year the Hobart Fringe Festival is moving northward, largely in response to increasing commercialisation in the Salamanca area and the inevitable constraints that this places on cultural activities and means of expression. We thought it would be fitting to host a group exhibition focusing on issues relating to the processes of gentrification occuring in this city.' Tim Panaretos.

Expressions of Interest close on the 9th March, 2007.

Jamin (Red Wall's Graphic Designer) has a new exhibition on at INFLIGHT Gallery down the road. It opens on Friday 2nd March at 6pm and runs till 24 March, 2007. It's called "Tasmania: Explore the Possibilities".

INFLIGHT is an Artist Run Initiative - a not-for-profit gallery run by a board of volunteers. INFLIGHT is at 237 Elizabeth Street, North Hobart.
